Many, who have driven through Logan Canyon in the autumn, say that this is the most beautiful drive in the State of Utah. At around 3 p.m. on a late September afternoon, when the quaking aspen are full gold, shimmering with every little whisper of breeze, a drive through this canyon is, indeed, awesome. For desert, Bear Lake awaits you at the eastern end of the canyon.

Logan Utah is in Cache Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the region. Exit 364 of I-15 is the gateway. Follow US-91, through Mantua, to the cut (5,892 feet above sea level) where you will find a scenic turnout from which you can gaze down upon Cache Valley. Off in the distance are the beautiful Monte Cristo Mountains with their cloak of quaking aspens. Even at night, with the Mormon Temple in Logan shining with the stars of the city lights surrounding it, the sight is worth stopping for.

Note: From Logan, take US-89 to get to the Logan Canyon.
